Morse Code Practice

Author: ve1jax (Site Admin)

CQ CQ CQ Calling all interested hams (and future hams)!

There will be CW practice (The Morse code is abbreviated CW for you newbies) on Wednesday evenings for about 30 minutes, beginning at 8 o’clock local time on the VE1YAR repeater 146.730 (-) MHz  but if all interested parties can copy VE1LN on 146.865, we will use that repeater instead and leave VE1YAR available  for others.

Practice will consist of plain language containing letters, numbers and a few punctuation marks sent at a speed of 12 words per minute.  We started at 5 WPM, advanced to 10 WPM and now to 12 WPM, so progress is being made.

All interested amateur radio operators and future hams wishing to hone their CW skills are welcome to participate.
